Imperfectly Me.

If you answered, “be free,” and believe that part of that freedom means allowing yourself to make mistakes, get messy and learn some new tricks along the way, then let me just congratulate you first and foremost! Just now, you decided that you are brave enough to accept your own imperfect-but-beautiful self.

It’s not easy being perfect. You already know that.

But it’s not easy being imperfect either. Now you have to… you know… do stuff. Lots of stuff. All the stuff. (Imperfectly, of course 🤭).

Do you have a list of things you want to do when your fluency in that second (or third) language is “good enough”? Maybe you haven’t actually written it down but think back to it from time to time.

Perhaps you’ve been waiting to start a conversation with your in-laws, or order some food at your favorite restaurant using the words and phrases you learned on Duolingo. Have you been thinking of spending a few days in another country?

No more excuses. There will be no “better time.”

So, there… That’s it. Now, you’re free.
