The Clown
Suddenly, a voice woke her up, and when she opened her eyes, she saw a clown. So, she asked him, “Who are you!?”
“I’m a clown!” he replied. “My job is to make kids laugh!”.
“Are you here because you will make me laugh?” she asked.
The clown responded, “Yes, I will do that! Did you know this garden has a spell? Kids who stay here can’t laugh anymore. Come with me!”
The little girl felt so sad because her mother and father were very busy, so she said yes to him, and she followed him. And they walked a lot.
However, she didn’t feel happy and she wasn’t laughing. So, she asked him, “When will you help me with my laugh? I feel tired and sad, and I want to eat something. You aren’t funny! I want to go home!”
The clown saw the little girl, and she was very angry, then the clown grabbed her hand, but the little girl didn’t move. He wanted to take the little girl to his world.
The clown’s world didn’t have any children, and the clowns didn’t have time to be happy. So, the clown wanted the little girl, because he thought that maybe she could bring happiness to his world. But he didn’t consider that the little girl would miss her family and her garden.
The little girl was scared. She wanted to go home.
Fortunately, a big figure appeared behind the little girl, it had big teeth and yellow eyes. The clown got scared and started to run fast, away from the little girl.
When the clown disappeared, the little girl turned around. She saw a pretty little brown dog, with big ears and black eyes. And she asked the dog, “Why is the clown afraid of you? You are so sweet and pretty. I don’t understand grownups!”
